Flank Steak with Red Wine
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
2 pound flank steak
1 cup dry red gewurztraminer
1/2 cup sliced onions
3 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon red gewurztraminer vinegar
1/8 tsp garlic, minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
PREPARATION:
The night before or early that morning
In a little mixing bowl, mix the red gewurztraminer, onions, olive oil, ginger, vinegar, salt, garlic and pepper. Set steaks in a glass bowl and put active components over steaks.
Cool and cover for 8 hours or over night.
Prepare grill to Medium heat.
Remove steaks from marinade. Position steaks on oiled grill. Turn steaks after 8 minutes.
To serve, cut flank steak in slices throughout the grain.
