Steuben wine co back in 1870′s to 1940′s in Chicago Anyone know anything it?

My Grandfather gave me this crock when I was six now I’am 40 He told me a story about it saying he found it in a tunnel under Chicago while working their, This is a 5 gallon crock and it reads STEUBEN COUNTY WINE CO. TELEPHONE MAIN 1352 227-229 WEST MADISON ST. CHICAGO, ILL I would love to learn a little bit of history about this crock i have and how old it is?

    A moderately dry rosé made from French hybrid Steuben grape.It has a wonderfully perfumy nose with fruity character making this wine perfect for a spring picnic. Great with a salad course of baby mixed greens, walnuts and mandarin oranges.
