Another choice is a very good, and very popular brand at Trader Joes called Charles Shaw (or 2 Buck Chuck). It comes in Zinfandel, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay and costs about $1.99 per bottle. If you go with bottled wine, plan on 1 bottle per 2 people. If you go for the box, and Almaden is a good brand by the way, plan on each person having a 4 – 6 oz serving. Mondavi is another brand to try but harder to find, and you might consider a Gallo. Also, have a few bottles of sparkling cider on hand for those that don’t drink and plenty of soft drinks and bottled water. Shopping at a place like Costco or Sam’s is great because you can buy in bulk for cheap! Good luck and congratulations!
