How is red wine better than concord grapes for Type 2 diabetics?

Red wine has beneficial flavonoids, but isn’t it derived from concord grapes? How does one get the benefits of the wine without drinking wine?

Drink concord grape juice, but actually alcohol in moderation is good for you. Like as in one glass a day, not any more than that. Grape juice has almost as much antioxidants as wine, 100% pomegranite juice is also another source of non alcoholic antioxidant drinks.

if you have diabetes the sugar in grape juice will mess you up. most wine is NOT made from concord grapes but other varities, concord grapes give the wine a gamey or foxy flavor. there are less sugars in wine as they have been converted to alcohol.
