Awesome film. The title refers to the French concept … Awesome film. The title refers to the French concept of wine where the earth, air, water all have an effect on the vines and the wines produced. Early parts of the film were evocative, to me, of Roman Polanski’s film “The Ninth Gate” with Johnny Depp. Here the wine stands in for the occult book in Polanski’s film. The sexual scenes in this film were more pronounced but subtly, artistic and very well done. Images both from a photography and production design view were wonderful…
