The wine didn???t overheat and it stayed at an ideal temperature for the duration of the entire time I recently purchased this wine set and have been using it for drinking wine, mixed drinks, and water/juices. This cup is really great for use around the house and with the lid it keeps my drink from spilling at times. I love that my liquids stay cool for hours at a time. The set came in frustration free packaging and with beautiful blue baggies for storage. So far this set stands up to drops of a foot or so when my friends would accidentally drop them.
